How would you describe your brand in a few words?
Ron Coloma was conceived and brought to life under the ancient trees of Hacienda Coloma, the Constain family’s country home, which was built in the late nineteenth century in Fusagasugá, a village in the very heart of Colombia, at an altitude of 1,700 metres in the Andes. It’s the story of a family that started out growing coffee, went on to create Colombia’s first premium coffee liqueur and now, almost by chance, today’s generation produces rum. It’s aged in oak casks that once contained coffee liqueur, giving it its typicality, length and big organoleptic personality. Ron Coloma is aged following the traditional method in single-use American oak casks for eight and fifteen years. It’s now distributed in over twenty countries. Coloma is blended by Sandra and Judith, two Maestras Roneras who together have over fifty years’ experience. After finishing in coffee liqueur oak casks, Ron Coloma is then reduced with Andes volcanic spring water, filtered and bottled at Hacienda Coloma.

We chose to attend Rhum Fest Paris to promote our Colombian rum on the vast French market.
